We Like to Spoon

It's Pinterest Craft Party time! My buds and I decided to dress our spoons for spring. I mean, who doesn't do this? Right? Oh.

We like easy projects and this one could not be easier. You need old or new spoons, a bit of sand paper, paint, paint brushes, painters tape, newspaper and a can of food safe shellac. And this is how you do it:

1. Tape off the area to be painted.

2. Sand lightly.

3. Paint. Let dry.

4. Move tape down a bit. (see below for pic on this)

5. Spray a couple of coats of shellac (outdoors!). Let dry.

I taped the spoon before I painted it, let it dry and then moved the tape down before I sprayed the shellac so that it would seal the paint.
