Room Service Atlanta Party

I had the great fortune to attend a party for Room Service Atlanta, a local non-profit started by two great designers, Dayka Robinson and Erika Ward. Nineteen designers, photostylists and artists came together to put redo the boys residential facilities at the United Methodist Childrens Home just up the road from me in Decatur. The party was hosted by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. We had a great time with some talented local designers. You can look forward to pictures of the project next week. Erika Ward and Dayka Robinson (Dayka grew up in Fresno, California the same time as me!!) are joined by Brian from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and one of the young men from United Methodist Children’s Home who is soon headed to train as a Navy Seal!

Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Atlanta showroom. I absolutely love EVERYTHING in that store but these dog images absolutely make me swoooon. And (bonus) on the sofa is sitting the mother of Dayka Robinson and, after speaking with her, discovered she worked at my junior high in Fresno, California. I can tell you that in Atlanta, Georgia, this type of connection NEVER happens. Lovely lady, lovely photo gallery!
