Gorgeous in Green

If this kitchen looks somewhat familiar, you have a very good eye. We featured the rest of this family’s home here, if you’d like a little trip down memory lane.

Having worked with this family before, we were all too happy to freshen up their very beige-y, no-color kitchen. To start, we built some cabinetry to incorporate and hide their microwave. We also streamlined the molding at the top of the cabinets to give it a younger, more modern look for the homeowner who said it felt like her mother’s kitchen and needed a bit of a zhuzh.

The lower cabinets received a coat of vibrant green paint, and the uppers crisp white, which coordinated with the existing backsplash and countertops. Two new light fixtures add stylish task lighting, and a fun patterned window treatment over the sink brings an unexpected bit of whimsy. We also love a bit of shine, which the elegantly curved brass faucets add.
